On July 5th, 2016 we launched the first version of HopUp. Today, we're announcing the next generation to make buying and selling within the airsoft community safer and bigger.

Over the last 5 months we've been working on HopUp 2.0 to bring the most popular airsoft marketplace to the next level. I'm super excited to announce that 2.0 is finally complete and will be releasing early February 2020.

What's new?

Until now, the lack of an integrated payment system and a proper seller/buyer rating system have been our biggest weaknesses. 2.0 has all of this and more!

1. Direct purchases

You can now purchase an eligible item directly from a seller through HopUp. This is just like buying on Amazon, Ebay, etc.

An eligible item will have "make offer" and "buy now" options. Read more (recommended)

2. Payment protection

In conjunction with direct purchases, 2.0 will introduce buyer payment protection. We won't release the money to a seller until the buyer has written a review or 3 days has passed since delivery. Read more

3. Seller & buyer rating system

Buyers and sellers can now give each other a 1-5 star rating once a transaction is complete. A seller is auto-rated and paid if a buyer fails to write a review or report a problem within 3 days of receiving the item. Read more

Your hard-earned vouchers aren't going anywhere! The new rating system will supplement existing vouchers.

• Manage sales from the profile tab
• Accept or deny offers from potential buyers in messages
• Snap a photo of shipping receipts to automatically add tracking information to a transaction
• New dashboard for tracking sales analytics (coming soon)
• New dashboard for viewing account balance and payouts
• New buyer/seller ratings

• Notifications when items you've purchased have been shipped and are out for delivery
• Purchased items can be tracked and managed from the profile tab
