I’m looking to get a new sidearm, and before I do, I wanna do some polling. If I get one, it’ll be CO2, because the Northern climate doesn’t agree with green gas. I currently run a WE 1911, so that’s a point for the EF, which has all the accessories (holsters, grips, etc) compatible. It also looks like it has interchangeable iron sights, so I could likely find some tritium/fiber optic sights if I knew exactly what spec they used. Does the KJW M9 run well on the optional CO2 mags? I would also like to put a wide bore barrel to bring it down to cqb joule levels, so another important aspect is if the inner barrel and bucking are TM Compatible. I like the color scheme of the one I’ve got in mind, with tan body and black barrel, giving a nice two-tone. The Sig would pair well with my rifle, and it is optic ready for whenever I can afford one, and has interchangeable iron sights. I’ve seen some tritium ones that look nice (it’s my sidearm, so I’d probably run the tritium before the red dot). Same questions as the M9, though. It runs hot on CO2, so I need to put a really wide barrel in it, or get a new valve. How TM compatible is the M17? I do know that there’s some issues with the nozzle breaking, but I heard Sig will replace them free of charge, so a point to the Sig.
