My new VFC HK M110A1. I bought it just recently and I’m still exploring it. Everything is completely stock. The externals are very great and honestly one of the most beautiful AEGs in my opinion. It’s a full metal construction: buffer tube, upper & lower receivers and handguard. The M-lok handguard is similar to the Geissele rail and it’s 14.5 inches long. It also comes with canted iron sights. And the trademarks are everywhere in this bad boy. I counted 7 total. Two on the stock, three on the receiver and two on the handguard. Official trademarks are the equivalent of badass tattoos or having an autograph of someone famous. I do own an older HK 417 from VFC so I’ll sometimes make references here and there. The buttstock is mostly the same. The only 2 differences from this gun and the 417 is that the rubber butt pad now has a latch and by lifting it, you can rotate the butt pad and gives you access to the battery. And the buffer rear now has 2 QD mounts. The 417 does not have these two differences. The lower receiver now has an ambidextrous bolt release on both sides of the gun, whereas the older 417 had it on the left side. The right side bolt release is located above the magazine release. And I noticed the impact sound is much louder which I think sounds badass. It’s literally loud enough to make my ears ring. Internals, I haven’t explored it yet so I can’t go into that much details. But it does have a Gate mosfet preinstalled out of the box. That in itself has a myriad of advantages that you can already list. Honestly, I purchased this gun because I like to collect unique replicas. I’ve been obsessed with guns since grade school. And for collectors I think this is barely worth the price and depending on how motivated of a buyer you are. You can easily buy a Cyma or an A&K SR25 for approximately 1/3 of the price and easily have more power due to the 2.5 elongated gearbox. If this VFC model had a 2.5 gearbox and not the standard v2 gearbox, it would’ve been much better. But 900 dollars is not worth the price. I think it’s worth more about 500 with the given specs and compatibilities in comparison to other AEGs. But I was a very motivated buyer and I wanted one, so it’s worth the rent money depending on your preferences 🤭 there’s more to say about this gun that hasn’t come to mind yet, but I’ll update it here. These are my brief thoughts in the gun. Any comments or questions you can ask me here!
