I have the Elite force Glock 18c gen 3 and my local field is semi only but when I use my TAPP haha drum mag it will sometimes shoot full auto when switched to semi-auto, why and can I fix it?

I have just bought my EF Glock 18c. I bought it for full auto with friends and semi-auto to play at my local field and when I use my TAPP HPA drum mag it will sometimes shoot full auto when I pull the trigger. The switch is in semi. Is there a way to fix this?
