Ideas installing a Perun AB++ in an Arcturus NY02 M4 with micro switch?
I recently ordered a Perun in-line MOSFET for my Arcturus and was trying to install it with my father, but we’ve been having issues getting the solder to stick the positive motor-lead contact on the micro switch for the trigger. Any ideas on fixing the issue? Granted, I’m not the most skilled at this, so I’m aware it might just be a skill issue. Tried it several times though.
EDIT: Solved the issue, rifle running well. I’m using it in a laid-back Milsim this weekend as a marksman class. I have a baffled mock suppressor printing to run on it as well, but it might not be ready by then. I will say that while I kinda like the lancer alpha stock, the qd points are too shallow and the stock wants to come off with weight. This can be fixed with a hot iron to deepen the qd and a sling wrap to hold the stock on. Overall though, it’s a good combo with this build even though I know lancer catches a lot of flak on quality.
