So I’ve built quite a few guns and over time I’ve pretty much used upgraded gearbox shells for anything with a decent amount of stress just for longevity but I am wanting to build a qrf mod 1 as I haven’t done that yet but I’m presented with a problem. The gearboxes are proprietary 🤦‍♂️. Without the ability to upgrade to a reinforced gearbox I am somewhat limited in what I could put in it but I’m curious if anyone know how durable they truly are. I know that they’ll hold up to lower stress dsg builds but does anyone with experience in this area think it would hold up to 10:1 siegeteks, an m160, and a ht motor? I know that you could do a pom piston/piston head to reduce stress on the gearbox but would this combo still be too much or do you think it’s achievable?
