Tips to Mitigate Being Scammed 🤌🏼

In this post I’ll be discussing ways to mitigate being scammed. First, when initially making contact with a suspected scammer or someone you find skeptical, ask tons of questions regarding the item you’re interested in purchasing. More specifically, ask for pics and videos. The first way of finding out whether the item is actually for that person is having them send a picture of the item with your name and the date of the day you contact them on a sheet of paper. To break the ice more, ask for a little personal information that isn’t really weird or too personal, such as what city they’re from so that you can identify what police office you should contact in the case of you being scammed. Also, exchanging phone numbers or even social media accounts would help in regards to having a trace to who that person is. One of the more obvious ways of defeating a scammer is meeting in person in a public place for exchange of funds for an item. If you guys have any other ways of mitigating being scammed, feel free to comment! These are just techniques I’ve personally used and I refuse to be scammed again. I’m sure a majority of you guys know all of these things so this post is more informational for the guys who have less or no experience on this app 👍🏼
