Hey everyone! Last week I was fortunate enough to get my hands on 4 brand new PTS EPM1’s and I figured I’d do a short review on them! I’ll start off by saying this; as long as you break in the spring, these are the best midcap magazines you will ever use. Having said that, the break in process is a bit tedious. Same as the older PTS EPM’s, these babies have some monster springs in them! Strong enough to break BBs if you are not careful! The initial break in process took me 3-4 days; I loaded them up using a standard hand speed loader, this is the tedious part. After loading, leaving for 12 hours, and unloading several times, the springs are more or less broken in. Like I said these are the best midcaps on the market in my humble opinion. Having 250 rounds with no winding needed, you’ll almost never run out of ammo. A very nice added touch is the BB level indicator on the side of the mag. If you can find them for a reasonable price I highly suggest grabbing a few! You won’t regret it!
