First I want to thank user Ruben Calderon for the idea of this format! I got his permission to turn this into a series so we’ll see how this goes! I’m getting back into making posts so sorry if I’m a little rusty! This post is covering/showing off my all time favorite gun, my beautiful VFC SCAR H/MK17 GBBR!! Ever since I was a little kid playing Battlefield 4 on my xbox 360 (GOATED game btw), I always loved the SCAR H. It was my primary for years from the 4th grade up until even now, so naturally I would want its airsoft counterpart. Let me tell you, I spent YEARS debating on getting this gun. From going back and fourth on comparing it to the WE tech version, seeing the lack of parts availability, to seeing if I even want a gbbr platform, etc. Before that, I had only owned echo 1 (lmao what an old callback), and vfc scar aegs, but finally I pulled the trigger! I got the gun on my 18th birthday in person at Evike in Alhambra, CA, and I was SO HAPPY. It was everything I expected, from the recoil, the noise, I was in love. The gun and I got engaged, and are now happily married. We will be merging our banking info together after we have our 4th child. Let me just say that this thing is awesome. The externals are excellent, so solid, you feel like you’re holding a real one, which I have. The action is smooth, and it kicks like a mule, by far the hardest kicking airsoft gun I’ve shot to date. The upper is constructed from aluminum, and the lower is polymer, just like the real thing. Everything on it is beautifully crafted, and the FDE color is accurate to the real thing. I also have it outfitted with a custom made metal cage/barcode! For the internals, aftermarket parts are nonexistent, but thats OKAY. Take care of the gun, and it will take care of you. Also the oem parts are cheap, and you can always order them. I recommend getting a spare nozzle. The only thing I have in there is the BlackVariable replacement buffer, which I 100% recommend getting as soon as you buy this gun! (Which you should!!!) For some background, I run an hyper-accurate (that just means im a nerd for details) 2014 transitional era 75th US Ranger kit, so the gun is outfitted to reflect that. Here is the breakdown: - Optic: EG Elcan Specter 1.5-6 (the trumpet) - Grip: Real Tango Down Vert grip in tan, (insight pressure switch version) - PEQ: SOMOGEAR PEQ (potted) in tan - Torch: Replica WMX2000 (forgot the brand) - Pressure Switch: Real Insight dual pressure switch - Flash hider: Correct FN flash hider, (EU version) - Sling: Viking Tactics Padded 2 point sling Thanks for looking at the post, I had so much fun sharing! Thanks again to Ruben Calderon for the post inspiration! Excited to see if this format becomes a trend, and I’d appreciate your upvote! Its great to be back and active here again!!
