SITUATION -
Mauston, WI — Once a flashpoint in the civil war between the Coalition of Sovereign Territories (COST) and the United Federal States (UFS), the town of Mauston, Wisconsin has remained largely quiet for the past two years following intense fighting that forced multiple factions to withdraw.
Previously, local units of the Civilian Defense Force (CDF) had supported Coalition operations in the region, helping COST maintain influence after UFS forces redirected northern troops from heavy combat in Indiana to secure the area. When the CDF abruptly withdrew nearly a year later, it created a power vacuum that allowed UFS forces to push into the region, forcing COST to divert additional resources to stabilize the front.
Now, two years later, new intelligence from COST command suggests the situation in Mauston may be shifting once again. Reports indicate that several local CDF groups have allegedly been approached with bribes and offers of military equipment in exchange for helping push back into Mauston and holding the city—though the ultimate objective behind the effort remains unclear.
The possibility of the CDF being swayed away from Coalition influence has raised alarms within COST leadership. Command officials fear that if local defense units turn loyal to the UFS, it could give federal forces a foothold in a region the Coalition cannot afford to lose.
For now, Mauston remains calm—but with growing concerns among Coalition commanders, the quiet may not last long. What comes next remains a mystery.

ONLY The following UFS Uniform(s) will be allowed - Players not adhering to the uniform restrictions will be removed from the AO until their uniform is CORRECT.
Multicam, Multicam Arid, Marpat/AOR1, 3 Color Desert/Choc Chip, Desert Tiger Stripe, Tan
Tan headgear required if worn, other gear color does not matter.

CDF (Civilian Defense Force)
ONLY The following CDF Uniform(s) will be allowed - Players not adhering to the uniform restrictions will be removed from the AO until their uniform is CORRECT. Civilian attire required. Denim, Plaid etc. (No Red), and NO OPPOSING FACTION ( at event) COLORS (no green) including headgear/facegear, other gear color does not matter. NO CAMO patterns at all. MUST BE SOLIDS. IE. TAN, Brown, black, white, all plaid but tan is ok.
