About This Event
KWA TACTICAL LEAGUE and GOON TAPE have partnered with ACTIVE VALOR to host a charity airsoft event to benefit children of our country's fallen heroes who lost their lives in the line of military duty. Dubbed OPERATION VALOR - this single day charity event will take place at GIANT SAN DIEGO on Saturday, December 10th from 9:30am - 5pm PT. with all proceeds benefiting gold star children via the Active Valor Charity Organization.
Play airsoft to give back this holiday season by joining Operation Valor - where you will take part in immersive, large-scale missions across the sprawling Giant San Diego Airsoft Park. Featuring game modes and missions inspired by some of today's most popular video games - join some of the best players from San Diego and the SoCal region, as well as a few special guests for all day play and a great gameday environment.
We'll have plenty of special guests and giveaway prizes from our sponsors - including EVIKE, KWA, GOON TAPE, PTS SYNDICATE and more. In celebration of the this worthy cause and exciting event, GOON TAPE will be releasing an exclusive limited run Operation Valor patch, which will be sold in limited quantities as well as awarded to a few lucky attendees during our end of event raffle.
Our matchmaking system will be utilized for this event, focusing on team balancing and continuing to provide players with the best gameplay experience available at any public airsoft park. Remember to make sure you and everyone you want to play with put down the same TEAM AFFILIATION when registering so that we can group you together. There are NO UNIFORM REQUIREMENTS; however, all field PPE rules apply. Pyro, smoke, and non-live action dummy grenades made are NOT APPROVED for use. Thunder B's, Tornadoes, and Spring and Gas powered grenades are OK and approved for use.
WHAT IS ACTIVE VALOR?
Active Valor is a combat veteran run 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in San Diego, CA dedicated to giving new purpose to veterans by pairing them as mentors to children of our nation’s fallen heroes, referred to as Gold Star Children.
Our program, Valor Adventures, was designed by a former Navy SEAL, envisioned to give new purpose to the lives of those who have served by redirecting their passion towards making a positive change in their local communities. Our veterans are placed in an ongoing mentorship role and given the chance to pass on their profound skill-sets gained from their military career to children that no longer have access to it. Together, our dynamic-duos utilize teamwork & problem solving to overcome different obstacles and challenges to successfully complete their missions.
WHAT IS TACTICAL LEAGUE?
TACTICAL LEAGUE is an immersive, full-force, airsoft event series that draws inspiration from the milsim world, competitive airsoft, video games, as well as historical events and real-world conflicts. Featuring a balanced PLAYER-CLASS system including Commanders, Medics, Breachers, Marksmen, FULL AUTO Support class, and more - the event mechanics are designed to place players in high-pressure environments and intense conflicts to test their skills, teamwork and ability to adapt to an ever-changing battlefield,
