Knocker spring fatigued and malfunction
Not removing the magazine after using the PP-2K results in extended contact between the knocker spring and magazine. This causes fatigue of the spring that will impact the firing efficiency and durability of the spring. Always remove the magazine after using the PP-2K to avoid such problems.

The PTS EPM1-S AEG magazine, made with the same technology as our EPM1, is a 20R length short M4 magazine that holds an incredible 170 round bb capacity and offers the same reliability that all PTS magazines have long been famous for. It is compatible with most Airsoft AR-15 M4 AEGs including Tokyo Marui, KWA, G&P, VFC, including the HK416, PTS PDR-C, PTS ERG series, PTS Masada AEG, the AMOEBA AM Variants, and many more. The magazine is available in Black and Dark Earth.

The PTS® Enhanced Polymer Magazine ONE, or EPM1, is the most advanced and highest capacity spring loaded AEG magazine ever produced. Aptly named the EPM1, the magazine is the FIRST in many ways:

Externally, the EPM1 has also been updated significantly. Another carryover feature is the continuous mag well guide to reduce snagging when drawing from or inserting into pouches or the rifle mag well. Our signature EP texture has been implemented onto the shell to give the magazine a positive texture for better grip and tactile feel. The texture along the spines have been changed to ridges for even more positive tactility and allows the EPM1 to be compatible with the Magpul Maglink® Coupler.
The baseplate of the EPM1 has also been completely redesigned. The slide-in design makes the baseplate more durable and resistant to damage or popping off if the magazine is dropped. It is also significantly slimmer than the first generation EPM’s so stacking the magazines in pouches or during storage takes up less space than before. The basepad’s heel is angled to be able to act as a monopod during supported shooting and, as before, a marking matrix is incorporated into the basepad for magazine identification use. The ribbed front ledge that provides positive indexing of the magazine when drawing from a pouch or plate carrier is now incorporated into the EPM1’s main body.

The new enhanced magazine follower is the result of our design collaboration with Deranged Designs. The improved follower keeps the pressure of the spring concentrated in line with the bb stack instead adding sideways pressure to the bb stack and against the walls of the magazine bb channel. This new follower design greatly improves the bb feeding speed and consistency and completely prevents bbs from sliding past the follower and creating a jam.
The most significant and innovative external feature of the EPM1 is the Fuel Gauge window. With the new unique orange mag level indicator, you can immediately know if the magazine is filled to capacity, its approximate remaining capacity, or if the magazine is empty. When the magazine is fully loaded, mag level indicator will show at the top of the window. As you fire the bb’s out of the EPM1, the orange indicator will travel down the window until it reaches the bottom of the window at which time the magazine is emptied.

The EPM1-RX is a slight revision of the venerable but still industry-leading PTS EPM1 250 round midcap magazine. The primary revision is brand new tooling for the internal shell which leads to more precise dimensions and smoother bb channel.  The EPM1-RX internal shell is distinguished by Its grey color and EPM1-RX markings on its surface. The EPM1-RX retains all the same features and technologies of the original EPM1:

Usually the most we can do is 40% of retail in STORE CREDIT, if you want cash or would be less then half of that.  THIS IS ASSUMING YOUR GUN IS IN GOOD SHAPE, NOT BEAT UP, PAINTED OR MISSING ANYTHING IT ORIGINALLY COMES WITH!

If you decide you would like to trade in your gun for store credit:

1. DO THE MATH - Multiply the retail cost of your gun by .4 so you know how much to expect to use in store credit. For example, a $200 gun multiplied by .4 would be $80 that you can use towards anything we sell. 

2. SEND US A MESSAGE - Send a message to us to let us know you're going to send your gun in for inspection. That way we can keep an eye out for it in the store. 

3. SHIP IT - Ship the items to us for inspection, or address is:

4. INSPECTION - When the gun arrives to the store our gun tech will fully inspect it to make sure everything is fully functional, not missing anything, painted,  wobbly, etc.  If it's not in like new condition with everything it is supposed to come with that will lower what you will actually get for store credit. 

5. SHOP & ENJOY - After inspection We will contact you with how much credit you have and you can use it for anything we have on our website, here, or anything we can obtain from our suppliers. 

6. If you read and understand all this, when you message us include "I love ECA!" So we know you are serious and actually took the time to read the post. If you don't we will ask you to read the entire post so we aren't wasting your time on simething you aren't invested in doing.

For trade-ins, we will take in pretty much any FULLY FUNCTIONAL guns. If it is not 100% fully functional, we are not interested. But we give around 40% of whatever it costs new as store credit. That is assuming the gun is in like new condition, not painted, not too beat up, and still has everything it originally came with (like magazines, battery, charger, etc.)  

You can use the store credit towards anything we have in stock or anything we have access to from our suppliers.

The PTS EPM-AR9 Magazine is a midcap magazine with 140 round capacity and has constant-curve internal geometry for reliable feeding. Our signature EP texture has been implemented onto the shell to give the magazine a positive texture for better grip and tactile feel. The marking matrix is incorporated onto the shell for magazine identification use.

A new remarkable design feature unique to this EPM as it allows the end user immediately know if the magazine is fully loaded by seeing the orange follower appears at the small see-through window which is located at both side of the shell .

The extended baseplate provides a better grip and more control while drawing from the pouch. Securely screwed at the bottom of the magazine, a marking matrix which is implemented at the bottom of the baseplate for magazine identification use.

The PTS® Enhanced Polymer Magazine, or EPM for short, is a new type of Mid-capacity Polymer Magazine for AEGs. The EPM is a truly unique AEG magazine, inside and out. Externally it features a Dupont Zytel Polymer shell, with recessed panels for better grip, and unique magazine well guides that reduce snagging when the magazine is drawn from and reinserted into pouches.

The bullet window with the fake 556 rounds isn't just for show. When the magazine is fully loaded, at the base of the see-through bullet window, an orange follower comes into view. This is a remarkable design feature unique to the EPM as it allows the end user to pick up any EPM magazine and immediately know if the magazine is filled to capacity and ready to go. It also acts a visual indicator for the user to known when to stop loading the magazine.

Another notable feature of the magazine is the base plate. The bottom of the base plate has been designed with an angled surface and a rubber overmold on the lower face. This combination of features allows the end user to rest the gun on any flat shooting platform and have more surface contact with better traction and therefore greater stability. The angled surface is minimized to the point that it is functional, yet still comfortable in the hand when drawn from pouches and also not inhibit the closure of flaps on closed top magazine pouches. The of the base plate has also been designed with a ribbed ledge which promotes easier extraction of the magazine from deep magazine pouches and can help the end user with correctly indexing the magazine.

This mid capacity AEG magazine holds 150 rounds with the same reliability that all PTS magazines have long been famous for. It is compatible with Version 2 based M4 AEGs by TM, KWA, PTS PDR-C, PTS ERG series, PTS Masada, G&P, the VFC 416, and the CA 416.
