Looking to sell my RICAS Compact. This vest has been barely used and is slightly faded. It’s honestly hardly noticeable. You can see the real ATACS FG coloring on the brand new hydro carrier and compare it to the vest for fading. This fits a S-L size perfectly but can also fit an XL too (going by shirt sizes). This vest fits 10x12 plates great in the front and back. There are also side pouches that be rolled up when not in use. They hold 6x6 side plates. It comes with everything seen in the stock photo above (please message me for additional pictures). It will also come with a Condor hydro carrier in ATACS FG (BRAND NEW!) as well. The vest does NOT have the pull cord. These vests go for about $400 new. About Warrior Assault Systems: WAS is a real steel manufacturer contracted by the British Royal Government to make vests for their Army and SF. What is RICAS? RICAS, or Releasable Integrated Combat Armor System, is basically a compact CIRAS. The standard RICAS was originally released as a means to improve upon the CIRAS platform of armor carriers. But once smaller plate carriers became more popular, WAS set out to design the RICAS Compact. The Compact has 10% less armor coverage than its predecessor, but the Compact does have a plus side compared to most, if not all, other plate carriers on the market! It can take Nexus Kevlar armor and be placed behind the ceramic plates in the front/back AND on the sides! This makes the RICAS Compact a smaller, more maneuverable, armor carrier!
