If you want to have the most authentic and highest performing Airsoft Kar98k produced, look no further than the Tanaka Works Kar98k. This mint example comes with its original box. It has never been skirmished, only used for plinking in the yard and for display. As a display gun, it ticks all the boxes. Has many trademarks around the receiver ( BNZ- indicating Steyr Daimler Puch production) and waffenamts on several other components of the rifle. Despite being mainly a collector’s piece, this Kar98k is by far the most actuate Airsoft gun I own. This Kar98 could pass as new. Only 2 slight imperfections: 1. Front sight hood assembly is friction fit unlike other Airsoft K98k designs. This is how they come from the factory. A minor annoyance but that’s one con of the Tanaka design. 2. Has evidence of being fired due to the slight preening on the receiver where the bolt handle contacts the receiver. Again, this is a common problem on Tanaka Kar98ks due to the use of zamak metals to comply with Japanese law.
