The handguard has aluminum heat shealds with a thick polymer build, and comes with its own end cap. The stock fits marui style aeg m4 and m16 varients and comes with the mounting hardware. There is also plent of battery space. This is a faux wood paint job of oem polymer parts. They are subject to the same wear and tear a traditional paint job.
