I can guarantee that this is by far the best VSR (or any sniper) on HopUp, nothing else can even come close to comparing in terms of quality, value, consistency, range, or accuracy. https://www.airsoftsniperforum.com/threads/project-vsr-x.14714/ This particular rifle was purpose built by Joseph Cribbs and Tim Greene with ceramics in mind so while it will work with regular heavys (.48), it’s greatest efficiency is met with ZrO2 bearings (.69) because of the piston weight and cylinder/barrel volume ratio. Thats also why it HAD a VascoMax barrel instead of a regular stainless steel and a specialized piston made by Joe himself. I cant quite recall the exact piston weight but i want to say it’s between 150 and 170 grams. The piston on my old VSRX was 150g so its at least that but may be heavier, you’ll have to disassemble and check yourself if you want the exact weight. Price is negotiable. Without the pricey barrel, I am much more willing to budge on price and negotiate a fair deal but please dont waste my time with lowballs, this is still and incredibly good deal as the one piece action alone was $750 and the PDI bore up cylinder is $250 so just those two things alone is $1000 not including tax or shipping. Add the custom made piston and nub, the hop unit, trigger, and all the other internals and its closer to $1500. The VascoMax barrel is $300 so the original value of this setup was well over $1800. I am asking for much less than that. You will need a stock/chassis and a barrel to complete this rifle. I strongly suggest an EdGi steel barrel. He may even have an extra 17-4PH laying around if you ask him.
