This echo 1 red star rpk is cheapest and coolers way to get a LMG to allow you to use fully auto in mill sim airsoft games. This one has been purposely worn in to look more realistic. The wood has been sanded and stained to more realistic cherry red. A mosfet has been installed to make sure the trigger contacts don’t burn up. The gear box has been shimmed and shoots very nicely with a 11.1 v lipo at around 375 fps. The magazine has been changed over from the horrible sound activated reloading to just the switch on the drum mag. Takes 4 AA batteries for the mag and holds around 1500 rounds. Keep in mind this gun is full metal and wood and it’s quite heavy. It has a really military surplus sling. Cons: rear sight broken off and bipod is broken. I really enjoyed this gun but have moved on from airsoft.
